Meet With Your Advisor
Graduate Students: You'll also need to file an application for candidacy with your graduate school office.
You're almost there!
Congratulations on being so close to graduating! Follow these steps to be sure you're all set to graduate:
Did you transfer to CU Denver, but haven't transferred over your classes? We have priority processing your college transcript if you took any courses outside of CU Denver. Bring your official transcript to the Office of the Registrar, Student Commons Building, 5th floor. When you check in at the front desk, let them know that you're a graduating student. We'll get your transcript processed and credits added within one business day.
You will be officially certified to graduate once a final audit of your record has been completed within approximately six weeks after the end of the semester. You'll receive a notification email once diplomas have been mailed. if you don't receive your diploma within two months after receiving that email, contact the Registrar.
Once you've applied for graduation, details about items like transcripts, diplomas, and commencement will be emailed to you
at your university email address.
Thinking about pursuing another degree with us? After you've been certified to graduate, be sure to reapply for admission if you plan to continue studying at CU Denver.
