Aleaza Goldberg, MA, CCC-SLP/L, is a Senior Research Instructor and Assistive Technology Specialist who works as a service provider and consultant in the CIDE Assistive Technology Clinic at the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering, University of Colorado, Denver. Ms. Goldberg specializes in evaluation, implementation and training in the use of Augmentative/Alternative Communication devices and computer access for early childhood, school aged and adult clients with complex communication needs and physical requirements. Ms. Goldberg earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has extensive experience in acute care, in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation with specialization in dementia, dysphagia and neurological communication disorders. In 2008, Ms. Goldberg completed a 12 month, advanced graduate-level training course for Assistive Technology assessment and implementation for people with low incidence disabilities.
